Facts and Figures

Since Daniel and I founded Alduna in September 2017, the project has known a fast growth. Until this day, more than 20 schools subscribed to receive yoga classes for their students during their weekly sports lessons.

Most of the schools involved in our program are based in Switzerland (18), although we also have one in Columbia and one in Germany. Even though most of the schools are in Switzerland, we are open to collaborate with schools from any country. Our goal is to bring yoga to as many kids and teenager all over the world. So far, we teach in about 34 classes which means that we reach around 680 kids (if we estimate that in every class are about 20 kids) with yoga and support them in their daily life.

Yoga Teachers

When yoga teachers subscribe on our website, we ask they submit reasons why they would like to join us. Most of them say, they would like to share their knowledge with students. Our teachers want to to gain experience in teaching yoga and give students life skills to cope with different situations in school or their private life.

Yoga teachers from all over the world have also subscribed to Alduna to volunteer teach yoga to kids in schools. 119 yoga teachers subscribed to our program, coming from 23 different countries and five continents. The majority of our yoga teachers live in Switzerland (61), followed by the United States (13) and India (12).

Schools

There are many reasons to introduce yoga to students in their early lives. Studies have shown, students who do yoga and meditation improves their performance at school because practicing yoga and mediation improves concentration and focus. By teaching children yoga in their early lives, we can support them through challenging periods of their lives including their teenage years. Schools are becoming very contentious of the positive benefits of yoga. More benefits are listed on our website.

We look forward to working with more yoga teachers and schools, bringing yoga to youth who need it the most. We also want to thank everyone who already joined Alduna and who supports us in any way.
